Shredded paper lay on the restroom floor, still wet from recent mopping. A steady stream of scalding water misted the mirror above a hand basin. Standing at the urinal, David heard the creak of a stall door. A warm hand from behind pressed something firmly over his mouth. As he inhaled and began to drift asleep, David Turner’s mind replayed the last conversation before his life paused.

The KiwiWriters Site Challenge

SoCNoC is over for another month.  Phew!  Don't know about you guys, but I love writing challenges, even month long ones.  They seem to stimulate me into doing all sorts of things.  In order to feel good about writing, I make sure my chores around the house are all up to date and my work is all done for the day.  Then serious writing can begin.

While some of you will drift away from KiwiWriters, heading to the next site with their writing challenges, I would like you to consider our wonderful site and what it has to offer.

Writers Block

Those two words are powerful enough to strike fear into even the most experienced of writers. But do you know what? I’ve recently come to believe it is merely a figment of our over-active imaginations. It’s what we’re good at after all.
