The Southern Cross Novel Challenge was a Success!

June 1st saw the launch of the inaugural Southern Cross Novel Challenge (SocNoC, pronounced "sock-nock"), NaNoWriMo for the southern hemisphere, complete with long weekend and wintry weather.

With one week until words began to spew forth we had 35 participants and during the month we accumulated many more until 60 people joined the challenge.
