The klog must go on...

…and so must the writing. Almost one week on from the close of the Southern Cross Novel Challenge it appears that participants just can’t get enough!
If you wanted to write 50,000 words every month there is almost a NaNoWriMo-esque even held for you to do so. July is no different with JulNoWriMo. Three SoCNoC participants, including two winners are signed up and writing away again: gaye-belle, tias42 & cosmicalkari. Good luck! And in the words on xengab: Go Team Kiwi!
We’re also putting on The Zing Thing at the end of July. Have a well deserved break and come back for more!
But I haven’t finished my SoCNoC novel! I hear you cry. Well, neither have I!
I expect to write another 50,000 words on the novel I began for SoCNoC before it’s finished. This month I’ve written another 1100 words and plan to continue writing with a 1000 word daily goal until I finish it, which will be sometime in August by my estimation. I know others who are just a few thousand words away from finishing who will shortly know the excitement of finishing the first draft of a novel.
Until the next BIG Kiwi Writers event we won’t be attempting to klog daily but will be posting every now and then to keep providing that essential distraction from writing.

Yeah, I'm one of the ones who is just a few thousand words away, so I just need to keep up some momentum to finish it off.
Well done to everyone who finished in time and to those who are wrapping up their novels now or in the future.
