But Wait, There's More...

It's a sad time to say that the inaugural SoCNoC is coming to a close and will soon be in the past. There are however, many, many happier things to talk about right now and all of them coming up in the future. So stick around!

We have big plans for the KiwiWriters.org site and, over the next few months, we'll be adding lots of lovely new features. We know that there are some bits we can improve, things to make it easier to use and lots of new features to make it even better. Though the site has only been live for less than half a year, we think we've done quite well so far but we're not going to rest on our laurels, oh no, so watch this space for some funky new features in the future.

As a taster, some of these new features will include:

• better navigation over the whole site
• updated content, especially the FAQs
• addition of timezones, so the challenge times reflect where you live
• the ability to upload excerpts plus some great features around this that we'll tell you about later
• addition of member challenges so you can personally challenge all the other KiwiWriters to join you
• a more detailed 'My' page also showing your current and upcoming Challenges
• regular news and interviews from the KiwiWriters camp

Also look out for further site challenges coming up in the next few months for something to get your teeth into, whether that be writing, editing, submitting or whatever. If you have any suggestions for something you'd like to see on the site, please KiwiMail one of the KiwiWriter team members or fill in the form on the Contact Page.

We love hearing from you guys and hopefully, you've enjoyed taking part in this, the first ever, SoCNoC challenge. We've loved every minute of it and though it's sad to say it's finished, there is still plenty more to look forward to. Don't forget to put a note in your diary for SoCNoC 2008 too, in fact, blank out the whole month of June!

Plenty of things happening so we hope to see more of you around.

Thank you all those involved in setting up the site. It's really great! I'm not a techie, so leaving it in your good hands. Have enjoyed the challenge and chat in between, looking forward to more. I've always wanted to write, but didn't know where to start, you guys gave me the encouragement and confidence to give it a go! Thanks guys and gals. :)
