Almost there!

Well the month is nearing its end, and this year we’ve had a fantastic turn out for SoCNoC: more than double the participants and well over double the total word count already – and that’s with a few days still to go!!

I, for one have had a ball, it’s been great getting to know some new people, seeing more members logging into the chat room for chat, encouragement and word wars, and just enjoying the sense of camaraderie that has been present in all aspects of this challenge. Whenever an issue has come up with the writing, there always seems to be someone around to help you get over that block, suggest a new angle or just offer a word of encouragement to spur you on.

For those of you who are still heading towards the finish line – I know you can do it! There are a couple of days to go and several challenges in the member challenge section of the site that you could check out: whether its 3k, 6k, or 7.5k that would help to get you there.

For those who’ve already met that 50K goal well done!!

And a big thanks to everyone who participated this year, regardless of your count at the end of the month it’s been a real pleasure sharing the journey with you, hope to see you all back again next year!
