Advice Regarding Days Off
Posted by: andychilton
Everyone needs a day off every now and again. But beware *here be dragons*!
Today has been a day off for me, in fact only my second so far which is a much better rate than my progress in NaNoWriMo! It has been very enjoyable and relaxing and now I'm all recharged for tomorrow.
But beware *here be dragons* since you can get very used to these days off. The best piece of advice I found regarding non-writing days is Don't take two days off on the run. Otherwise it will kill your word count.
Happy Writing for today, or is that for tomorrow.

Bah! I wish you'd told me all this a the beginning of the month!
Another thing - USE THE WEEKENDS! You can easily get two hours in on a weekend, where you would have a much smaller chance on weekdays.

See, that really sucks because my "days off" will start on the 29th...when we're leaving to go on vacation (with no laptop, I might add!). And that means I have to have my novel done BEFORE the 28th! Okay, before like...nine at night on the 28th, but still.
And next week I have something going on EVERY DAY! Wednesday is the worst...I don't think I'll have ANY time to write then. AHH! You've got me freaking out, now, Andy...gee, thanks! LoL *runs to novel*
