Ok, so I want to...

1) finish editing my SoCNoC
2) send out my first query letter

Currently I think that's it, since I'm insanely busy this month.

It's going well so far; I've edited most of the simple stuff and one of the big things. I'm happy. My novel is nice. And I'm seriously sleep-deprived right now, because apparently editing is just as addicting and fun as writing to me.

craziness!!! Send me some of that 'I love editing' vibe please!
Well, actually, I think when I do get into it I'll enjoy it a lot.
Well done though, sounds like you're on track for the month! How many 'big' things are there to edit in the novel?
Good luck with the query letter writing, it's exciting stuff.

Wow, you love editing and writing? I think my problem is that I use the same type of brain power in my day job as I do when I edit so it's a lot more tiring. The creativeness of writing gives me a break from that.

How much editing do you need to do?

*tries to grab editing mojo*

My editing brain is puny! I hand in chapters to my crit group and they routinely pick up the most embarassing mistakes, that I SWEAR weren't there before I printed. Imagine if I sent that stuff out to an agent. (Really, thank the muses for crit groups!)

I think my editing brain gets wrestled to the floor by the writing brain. Then it never picks itself up again.

Happy editing. And good luck with your query! So tricky to write - how can one sum up the plot of their novel in a single paragraph? I know you'll do well.
