Well, I have three things penciled in for "The End is Nigh" challenge.
1) Finish my NaNoWriMo 2006, "The Bright Side of Casey Hill" (~4-5k) 2) Finish my SoCNoC 2007, "Bit and Byte's Adventure" (~3k) 3) Put some of my other stories up on the webbernet Not a huge amount but that's good enough for me. Oh and I'll only be starting at the weekend :-) 01 Aug 2007 19:42:10

I can't wait until you finish one of those stories and get that 'The End, It's Done' feeling. :)

It does seem like a looooong time that I've been waiting for Casey Hill, really, it's time.

I need help.
Okay, I want you to put your hands up if you want me to start my "End is Nigh" challenge. I've been really bad and been doing other stuff (which, in some honesty, is actually finishing some things off, just not writing). Anyway, as it turns out, it's not quite half way through the month, but I need help and encouragement to start. /me looks to the sky and mouths "Help" 13 Aug 2007 23:51:39

Okay Andy, I want you to pick the story you're most excited about and get cracking. My birthday is on the 31st of August, and I expect an email with the last paragraph (or more, if you want) of your story sitting in my inbox. Can be your birthday gift to me.
Okay? Got that? If you don't, I'll be horribly disappointed, spend my whole birthday feeling depressed, and eventually will be forced to go to your house and throw rocks at you. How's that for motivation? 14 Aug 2007 11:46:06

I have my hand up, left one that is so I can type with the right.
I've only just started Andy, its because I am not enjoying this story as much as the SocNoc one, but needs to be completed. It's actually finished, but have to redo 2,000. Had electrican in today, power on and off, so gave up. At least can have a hot shower tonight. :) 14 Aug 2007 18:12:55

Andy - finishing is one of the great joys in life, don't let this one pass you by!
Of course, when have you ever listened to me? I've been asking you to finish your first Nanowrimo for months now... Listen to Jane, she sounds scary. 14 Aug 2007 23:00:47 |

Travis, I'm not not doing it because you asked me to, it's just about time - I promise. It just seems that this year has been mega-busy (or is that ultra-busy).
Anyways, I shall be starting to finish on Thursday. I know that's two days away but I've been out each night this week :-) and :-( at the same time! I saw the RSC production of King Lear last night and it was awesome. 14 Aug 2007 23:43:47

You've still got two weeks to finish something Andy.
You sound like me, won't be nagged into doing something. Pokes tongue out to others. I have been landscaping the garden, but stopped as it is under water, now Iv'e decided to do scrapbooking, cutting out little pictures instead of writing. Will get back to it when good and ready. Glad you enjoyed King Lear, bit of culture doesn't hurt anyone. Local Repertory put on 'The Night of the Iguana', recently. Tennessee Williams stuff is a bit heavy though, but enjoyed it. 15 Aug 2007 13:46:04

Oh, but how do I do word wars if I turn the Internet off? :-(
Ok, you're right, I'm seriously at that stage of the month where I'm getting a little worried. Hmm, time to stop doing other things and concentrate on this for a while. 23 Aug 2007 20:50:01
