The End Is Nigh is a very generic challenge based around 'things'. This meant that we could get the challenge up and running quickly within the current challenge structure. It also means that we only know when you've finished something not how close you are to finishing.

To enable fellow participants and other Kiwi Writer members to cheer you on and congratulate you when you win we need to know your progress.

1. Create a new topic with your username and the word 'Progress'. e.g. kerrynangell's Progress

2. Tell us what you want to finish during The End Is Nigh, be it one or more things. e.g. Finish first draft of untitled SoCNoC 2007 novel and title the untitled SoCNoC 2007 novel

3. Guess your goals in words, pages, hours, etc for each thing you want to finish. e.g. 100,000 words for untitled SoCNoC 2007 novel *

4. Tell us what you're working on and what your starting point is. e.g. untitled SoCNoC 2007 novel starting at 58,507 words

* Some items can't be expanded to provide progress like this. You've either finished it or not. This could be the case for this item: title the untitled SoCNoC 2007 novel. You could make this more of a challenge and be able to track progress by saying you will come up with 5-10 titles and choose the one you like best.
