It looks like ScriptFrenzy is going to be in April next year - at least according to cybele over at NaNoWriMo.
That means I can do both! Happy days :-) 28 Nov 2007 20:42:51

That's good andy, I signed up for scriptfrenzy too. But didn't try both that and socnoc for a first timer.
I thought the site offered advice on how one wrote scripts, but it was a challenge. A friend wants me to write him a script suitable for schools, with a learning curve such as bullying, though I think that has been overdone. Any ideas where I can gain some help with this? Having done acting I have done a fair bit of script reading, but not writing. 28 Nov 2007 21:25:38

Umm me again, just checked out on your site referrals, and found what I was looking for. Thanks. :)

This is awesome news! One of the EdMo admins mentioned it but I didn't know where she had found out.
Now SoCNoC will not have that competition! He he. I began a script ages ago for a writing assignment. I'd be interested to see what happens. 29 Nov 2007 21:27:45
No Excuses. Just Write.

I'd like to attempt it this time. I was *gutted* this year; I couldn't do it! Patrick was only a month old and hubby's mother and sister came to visit for a week.

Yeah, I can't wait for this one. I remember when they first announced script frenzy last year and I said I'd do it - but I did SoCNoC instead.
This time, I'm in. Think I'm going to do a screenplay of my SoCNoC since it's much better as a film than a novel :-) 04 Dec 2007 20:20:23

It can be a lot of fun writing a story into a movie!! I did this for one of my assignments for my media script writing paper last year.
This year I am going to be brave and write the script I wanted to write but wasn't sure I would do a good enough job on! lol 04 Dec 2007 22:17:33 |

gaye-belle, no nothing much stops me. A cold is trying to at the moment but I will win this round.
I am an endless font of story ideas what so far no one else has dared to borrow from. I have several magazine rejections due to my work being alittle too out there. Hubby doesnt mind me writing at it means less time I am telling him strange facts about the world or tv shows or annoying him. I have also found that I get depressed if I am not being creative in some way. SO I can say I am doing a mental health exercise by writing :) Oh and wait until the chocolate cupcake has cooled before eating it as it will cause blisters in your mouth, just an FYI. :( 05 Dec 2007 09:34:46

Hmmmm, that all sounds familiar to me somehow. Writing seems to keep me away from 'normal' people leading boring lives and don't want me to entertain them with my nonsense. Pity them!!
