Yay!! I just passed 50% and you know what that means! My progress widget now shows my progress in the yellow bar.

I wasn't so lucky tonight. I opened up my document and it wasn't yesterday's copy, it was from the day before. I think I copied it over my newer on in my backup too!
So, there goes something like 2000 words. I wrote about 3k tonight, but still, that sucked. I wrote a bunch of scenes over again and don't think they were done as well. Still on track and double checked my backup tonight to be sure it was the right copy. Ouch! 20 Jun 2007 01:43:57 |

My heart goes out to you cottreau.
After a similar event during nano, I've set my document to autosave every 20mins - It's a little annoying that it interrupts my typing (usually when I've just found the perfect phrase) but I can't lose more than a small chunk of work. I also burn to CDR once a week and email to a friend (who knows there's nothing worth reading till I've done the first major edit!) Paranoid? Me!? 20 Jun 2007 09:36:14

Oh, I usually do it every single time I get up. And I've figured I'm more productive if I can get up about every 500-600 words. Today I had a doctor's appointment at 8 in the morning, and I was still done before 12. Gotta love breaks.

I don't think I'm going to make mine today...mostly because I don't know what it is, but also because I'm just too busy today. Soccer, haircut, lunch with grandma, grandma's house, senior pics, dinner, soccer again...and it's kinda spread out, so I don't have time to get on here...=(
