If you have a group of SoCNoC participants in your area get together in person and support each other!

In NaNoWriMo style I suggest a kick-off party, weekly write-ins and a thank god it's over party.

When posting a topic on gatherings please put 'Kick Off', 'Write In', or 'TGIO' in the topic name.

Happy to come along to a IRL gathering. Sunday sounds cool. Una wasn't keen on a whole bunch of keyboard clicking at home, so it will have to be elsewhere.

Volunteers?

And Maggenpye - sorry you aren't in Welly for a gathering.

The library is always the easiest, plus I'm sure most people will have laptops anyway so we won't need power outlets.

I'm happy to offer my place for Wellington people. We have two PCs and a laptop. :) What time do people think?

I'm flexible, whatever is easiest for you. And of course, you can always KiwiMail anyone who doesn't know where you live :-)

*runs over to SoCNoC forum after not being on this site for DAAAYS* *huffs and puffs* I'm here, I'm here!! Okay, not physically going to your gathering (a taaaad too far from Auckland), and I've still got 2 exams left, but whee!!

*looks at dismal wordcount* *rolls up sleeves* Well, better get moving!

angeldreams - it's too bad you can't be there. Auckland is a little ways away. :-)

I can't wait to meet some of you guys out there in the wilds of the world (even big cities :) )

How about next weekend in Wellington? the 8th June. I intend to park myself in a cafe until my battery runs out. -- preferably without wifi (less distraction)

Br3nda, that sounds like a good idea for next weekend.

If you can make it, we're having a gathering at Kerryn's place later today, at 2pm. If you can make it, either PM her or email me. I can pick you up if you need a ride.

I think that teleportation would probably be worth some money - I can't believe no one has tried it yet! ;-)

Ahhh...now I get why the teleportation dare is all Cassie's fault! :)

I wonder if there's anyone else on the Mid-North Coast of NSW doing this challenge?

Hey guys,

If all you Wellingtonians want to meet up this weekend for a write-in, I'm happy to offer my place, say 2pm on Sunday 10th June. I have a comfy couch or a dining table (whichever you prefer to write on) and wireless if you need the webbernet.

Let me know if this suits or suggest something else. If you want to come but don't know where I live, KiwiMail me!
