10K is a big pschological boundary. Once you get there, you are on your way, even if you don't know where you are going.

Well done all those (like me) who are there on schedule. Tally-ho, to all the rest.

Right lurgee, we haven't had our celebratulary decades of accompishments. Whew what a mouthful!
I have been writing about the leading man in a shakespeare play who came to rehearsals drunk. So typing shakespearian pieces in a slurred fashion, has been hard going.
Well done to those attaining the first decade! :)

Made it this far and I have had no huge spurt like last time. It has just been steady progress. I am spurred on by two avid readers who are waiting for the next blog. It is amazing what that does for you. It makes you want to write but you also want to write better. (I think this is a good thing). No huge body count this time just the word that someone was killed in the past. I have to have a body, it just wouldnt be me if there wasnt a body lying around.

Yay, over the 10k mark. ^_^ My original goal for tonight was 8k, and word wars really helped me get to here tonight. ^^

Over 10k, finally!^^ I'm so happeh. I'm hoping to catch up since I'm a few thousand behind as it is. But I'm having a big fight scene coming up and that will definitely swallow up some words.

Looks like I'm going to be stuck in the 10K - 19,999 club FOREVER. At my usual, relentless 2K a night, I should be hurtling towards 30K, but here I am stuck on a meagre 17,000 words ... Many issues coming together to slow me down. I've even taken acouple of nights off.

Still fairly confident of reaching 50K, but struggling to come to terms with the concept of being BEHIND. THIS ... DOES ... NOT ... COMPUTE.

I'm here! I'm here! Really struggling this year, not sure if my story has another 40,000 words left in it. On the other hand, the rules state I may do multiple pieces of work which means I could start on book two if things really grind to a halt! Ever the optimist!

'Egad, STILL short of 20K ... what does it take?

Wasn't going to write anything at all today, spent the whole day in bed with the flu, felling very sorry for myself. But number one son waged a persistent campaign against bedtime and the result is I can't sleep, so that's me teeering on the edge of 20K. Assuming I can get another good day in tommorrow, I'll be hurtling towards halfway. Still behind, but catching up. Just can't afford anymore nights off.

Gosh lurgee, that's three on here with flu, I even have one character in my story with it, must be catching!
Isn't determination a wonderful thing, despite needed sleep.

FINALLY! I made it! 10k. I'm so glad to see that number. I'm way behind, but I'm glad I've gotten this far.

Slow and steady wins the race, right?
