I will be and I know others will to. You can link to your website in your profile and if you'll be blogging your SoCNoC journey post the link to your site here.

This is me: No Excuses. Just Write.

I think I am. Well as soon as I come up with a witty title for my blog. Am gonna make a new one for SoCNoc maybe. Or then use my regular lj, but as I made my friends suffer through a months worth of daily angsting I might do a new one all together.

I think it keeps me in check, you know? Makes me jot down my progress and spurs me on if I'm behind when it's all blogged out.^^

I find publishing my progress is a great motivator. Sometimes I even prepare the blog post saying that I've reached a certain word count goal but will only post it once it's true. :)

I have set up blogs here and there and forget about them. Used Live Journal for Nano, as a daily journal, and others on have here sent comments.

I'll probably blog my progress as I usually do. I'm still undecided whether to publish it as I go along again. It was certainly good for me doing that during NaNo because it kept me going. (Note: I won't have any intention of trying to get it published for real - which is why I can do it as I go.)

I'll be at least blogging my progress and maybe an excerpt or two. We'll see.

Blogging sounds fun. I shall play with my site and make SoCNoC its own area :)

Haven't updated it since March though. I'm a bad blogger.

I'm guessing from the content of this thread that SoCNoc doesn't do "personal threads" during the month for updating progress, yes? no?

The more I think about it the more I think that giving my progress at the start of each of my blog entries would be a great idea, both for personal motivation and for the "tell everybody" effect that Chris Baty talks about (where if you tell everybody they either all cheer you on or ridicule you until you die). :D

You can always make a personal thread in the socnoc forum to track your progress in - I know we did have some for another challenge, but can't think of which one that was (last years challenge forums have been archived, so that's why you can't see them on the regular forum).
Totally agree with that tell everybody thing, having that accountability certainly gives you some motivation! lol now I'll just have to try and remember to blog about it more....

If you don't want to create a blog just for the month please do create a topic within the SoCNoC forum called 'speakcoffee's progress'. If there's enough people doing so I'll create a sticky topic to link to them all.

I think we did have a progress report at some stage. Some people can be inspired by others progress and have little races together.
I tend to have a big burst at the beginning, to allow for any interruptions futher along the month. Though maybe different this year, as busy early June, then starting up a drama club later in the month, so have to collate some notes for that.
I do like to do some writing every day, even if it is in spits and spurts. :)

Just created an IJ for blogging my SoCNoC stuff. I figure my friends on LJ would get sick of hearing about writing and lots of it, and I wanted to check out IJ anyway. :D Also, it'll give me more incentive to make it to 50k if I'm blogging about it. ^^

I'm sure I'll be writing about it to some extent on my livejournal: http://augustfalcon.livejournal.com

I don't post that often though and I probably won't start writing about it every day. Feel free to add me though if you have one.

Ok, this is something new to try.
I now have a blog.

I will blog what I am doing but I am also unsure about putting my actual writing there. We will see, I might put a teaser or two up.

Just like with my NaNo novel I'm putting everything up for everyone to see but also like with my NaNo novel I'm not promising anything good or even an ending! (My NaNo story never got finished.) Since this is a first draft sort of thing it's definitely just going to be my ideas flowing as they will but you are more than welcome to read what's there if you're interested and leave comments if you want.

I've tried to add the blog as a link in my signature if you click on my progress bar. Hope it works...

It looks like it didn't work. It doesn't want to let me change my signature at all! Hmm.... Anyway, sorry about the double post but I can't seem to edit the one above either.
