Yeah, me too. I have been toying with a couple of ideas already but nothing firm for me yet - I'm sure that'll happen just two days before June starts.

So everyone, accept the challenge and let's go!

Have nothing planned, life is busy at present, but will ease off by June hopefully.
Would like to try something outside of New Zealand for once.

Hey, 10 people have signed up already. That's 500,000 words - half way to last year's total (of course, I'm assuming that all of those 10 will all make it :-)

/andy hopes we make it to 2 million this time and is ignorant of counting chickens

Just to note progress, on the 10th May last year we had 19 sign-ups. This year we have 44 :-)

I'm soooo looking forward to it starting.

Just wanted to say that I've signed up -- but more importantly I'm in awe of the website! Very nice site. I love how the icons etc on the challenges are all automated. Nice, very nice. I'll be recommending this to my JanNo friends.

I went looking for activity on the NaNo site because I'm just doing the outline of a story that I want to get into straight away, and was looking for a challenge and/or companions to write with... and stumbled over a thread where several people referred to SoCNoc.

I hope it's not a problem that I'm not part of the Southern Hemisphere?. If it helps to muddy the waters at all, I am Canadian but I've been living in Holland for the past 5 years. Oh, a friend of mine moved down to NZ... and pulled this crazy stunt... but that's another story! Point is, I may get confused as to which continent I'm on sometimes ;-) but I'd love to be part of this!

It is great to see familiar names nzfoxgrrl and bibliocat coming aboard, and welcome kiriel, we don't mind where you are from, a Dutch-Canadian is quite different. :)
We are all waiting for the 1st June with baited breath.

I'm back again. :-D It should be very interesting this year because not only am I doing this, but I'm trying to edit another novel as well.

Eh, I'll just have to give up on little things, like sleeping and eating.
