I've just joined, and entered my first challenge, The End is Nigh. I'm in Christchurch, and am working on Draft 3 (a fairly substantial rewrite, actually)of my vampire novel, which I plan to finish by the end of August.

Cheers,

Lila.

Awesome Lila! Welcome to the site and good luck finishing your rewrite :-) I'm also rewriting this month as well and hoping to be done by the time the end of the month rolls around - I'm sure we can both succeed!
Vampire novel huh? Sounds wonderful, love vampire stories, do you write other kinds of things as well?

Hi Lilar, welcome, just timed it nicely to get some work finished. These challenges do help to motivate us. :)

Hi Lilar! I'm working on Draft 3 of my own WIP for the End Is Nigh, though I'm not quite at the writing stage yet. Draft 2 was a very complete rewrite and this one will be hleping to flesh it out.

Hi Cassie. The first two books I wrote were a thriller and a murder mystery, both involving a group of people who ran a psychic investigation radio programme. Since then, I seem to have gravitated towards vampires - I've also written another vampire novel, but I think it will also require a fairly substantial rewrite at some point. I've had plenty of other ideas, but nothing has 'gelled' yet. I've discovered I like writing in the 19thC, which is where both vampire novels are set.
