Ok, I'm a little sucker for punishment, and I also am a sucker for picking up ideas and then dumping them. Typical aries.
I noticed world building in the list of possible members challenges. I might put up a challenge in this particular category, I have a collaborative idea to get our juices flowing. I write fantasy. My current WIP isn't fantasy and I'd be interested in dabbling in a little bit of world building.

I shall have to give it a little more thought. I have to say, I'll done collaborative world building before, but it's a lot easier when you're all around a table. I'll see if I can adapt it for online.
I think it could be a fun process! The hardest bit thought, I found, is letting go of your ideas. Given it's collaborative, you can't be too protective of your ideas, as they can easily be built on by other builders. 15 Jul 2008 21:34:02 |

Sounds like fun, I am currently half way through creating a world, and it is evolving as I write. What started out as a simple society is quite a sophisticated system created by an old order that has since been disbanded, but the basis for society that they created and ideas are still being used in my fantasy world.

Well, if you can class paranormal romance as fantasy, then yes, I write fantasy lol.

I write fantasy and have created my own version of the world. Language is something I am working on.

I'd say about 40% of what I write is fantasy - I'd be interested in this challenge too.
