"This is my personal goal. I want to have a book written and published by the time I'm twenty. Given the fact that I just turned 19 on the 26th of November, I have a little less than a year to accomplish this goal. I already have a few good stories started but they are no where near ready to be published. I've been saying for years "This year I'll finish a book" but now I really mean it. By the end of November next year I want to have a book published, or at least in the hands of a publisher.

Anyone up to joining me in this challenge? What all would be involved in publishing a book within a year?"

A book is a stand alone book complete with your work. This could be a novella or epic novel, fiction or non-fiction, a collection of short stories or a collection of poems. We all know that our ability to become published stops when we submit our piece of work, getting it into the hands of the publisher.
