It's THAT time of the year again. Write a short story about your best Christmas experience, or your worst. Does peace and goodwill enter into your Christmas? Has commercialism taken you over? Does Globalisation destroy family get togethers? Do you go into debt through Christmas spending?

The Rules

Christimas is supposed to be a time of happiness and good cheer.  Do you have this at Christmas time? 

Some ideas for working into your story:

1/ Compare Christmas today to when you were a child.

2/ Christmas includes so many cultural traditions in NZ. Use these differences and explain them and which matters to you the most?

3/ Are you organised or the opposite, and whether it is worth the stress

4/ Do you enjoy Christmas, or would you rather it be over and done with?

Use these as a basis to create your story, or if you wish, write an essay.
