Last run to the finish line

We can count in hours the length of time left for this years SoCNoC.
The best thing to do now is keep going, strive until the last minute ticks away.

How much you got from this challenge solely depends on how much you put in.
Did you strive for HalfNoC or for the full SoCNoC experience?
Did you sit down each day and write for a set amount of time?
Did your friends and family see how much effort, time and sweat you placed into your writing?
Did you loose track of time, and loose yourself in your own creation?
Did you remember to bath regularly?

If you answered Yes to any of these questions then you should be proud of yourself.

The Southern Cross Novel Challenge is more than just words on paper, its encouraging others to strive and achieve. As a member of Kiwi Writers, I get alot of joy seeing people post that they managed to surprise themselves and write X number of words.  Some of us can churn it out on demand, others just need to formulate the words in their heads and slowly but surely write them down.
If before the challenge you had only ever written 2,000 words for a short story and now have written 10,000 word novella. That makes me happy to see, and gives me pride in being apart of the group that allowed you to find those extra words.

Today is a good day to look back over the month and see what worked for you best, use that to give these last hours the best effort you can put forth.

I would also like to take the time as the Blog co-ordinator to thank everyone for sending in blogs for me to post. They were all great and wish you all the best in the future.
