I'm trying to change my picture but the site won't let me. I delete my existing one, it disappears, but then when I upload a new one, hey presto, the old picture is back again. Am I doing something wrong?

Have you checked the size of the picture - maybe the new one is too big to be displayed?

No, it said the size was ok. But hang on, that IS my new picture! Maybe there was just a time delay.

But now it's gone back to my old one. How weird is that? I'm starting to doubt my own perceptions now.

Okay, you've probably already done all this but just to help us figure out what's wrong you should...

1. check Delete Picture option and select Save from the bottom of the page. You should be able to check the forums and see that you don't have a picture any more.

2. upload a new picture in your profile, select Save and again check the forums to see if it shows your new picture.

You might want to refresh the page using ctrl-F5. Right now I'm seeing the picture of you in a beanie with a house in the background.

Yeah, that's my new picture. It went back to my new picture the next time I was on the site without me doing anything - how weird is that! I definitely did those two steps - it went to my new picture, back to my old one the next time I logged on and then went to my new one when I logged on after that. I logged on using two different computers - don't know if that's got anything to do with it.

Every time I have come on here it's always been the same pic, even when you first posted with the problem, so I wonder if its some weird computer quirk?

Yes, might be my computer rather than the site. No one else seems to have had the problem.
