BNZ Literary Awards details
I got an email this morning with the details for the revamped BNZ short story content - formerly known as the Katherine Mansfield Awards.
If you head over here you can see all the information - there isn't actually that long until the deadline! So you've got until July 23rd to get something in if you're interested

Wow, yep, that is a bit short notice. I don't have anything suitable at the moment, so I'm going to see if one of my creative workshop stories shapes up well enough, and if so I'll edit that.
Just thinking also not long until the SST competition. Definitely getting my shit together for that one...
Don't know, it's not been announced for 2010 yet...
I don't have anything except a vampire story, and a ghost story, which isn't near finished! Another year where I miss out.
omg, this is a big deal. I have a book of winning stories, reading through some of them has been a blast. I think it'd be such an honor to even enter :D

Very certain mine is not up to par but it was still fun to write and see up there amongst the other entries. There are some really cool ones in there! If one of them is yours - good luck! :)
They state this as the closing details:
"BNZ will accept entries for the BNZ Katherine Mansfield Award, BNZ Novice Writer and BNZ Young Writer categories from 1 April 2011 (the "Opening Date") until 11.59 p.m. New Zealand Time on 31 May 2011"

Hmph, seems to have been very low profile this year (unless I've just had my head in the sand), and also earlier than last year. Not much time to get something ready. Oh well, there's always next year... Good luck with your entry, Delli.
I don't think I have anything I could put into this one, and I'm having a hard time getting anything done lately! lol I think much like Anna, if something gets written that will work in the next couple of weeks then maybe.
