About Kiwi Writers

Kiwi Writers is a writing community aimed at challenging and encouraging anyone who is passionate about writing. Based in New Zealand we also aim to support and promote New Zealand writers.

Kiwi Writers was inspired by National Novel Writing Month and the great group of Wellington based NZ Writers who participated in the 2006 event. Motivated by the pressure and fervour of the challenge, the deadline and the results it could produce we set out to adapt this method to be used year round to keep us writing.

Kiwi Writers provides community-wide challenges, personal challenges that you can open to the community, resources and links on all aspects of writing including a comprehensive list of New Zealand specific links and a friendly, helpful community to share the writing ups and downs.
